Annotating your screen
If you are sharing your desktop, applications, or windows, you may choose to pause your screen sharing and
annotate.
The following will occur if you decide to annotate your screen:
• Takes a snapshot of the screen share.
• Returns you to the meeting room.
• Displays the snapshot with a whiteboard overlay so you can mark it up.
To pause and annotate:
Select Pause And Annotate from the Adobe Connect system tray icon menu or the drop-down menu next to
the Stop Sharing button at the top right of the shared application.
Adobe Connect takes a screen shot, then returns you to the meeting room with a Whiteboard Overlay on the
image.
To leave the Pause and Annotate mode:
• Resume screen sharing—Click the Resume button at the top of the Share pod. Focus is returned to a shared
application.
• Stop screen sharing—Click the Stop Sharing button at the top right of the application you’re sharing, or select
Stop Sharing from the Adobe Connect system tray icon.
